The rubber/silicone used for wiper blades may have improved over the years, but it’s still true that even the best wipers are only good for about a year’s time. Normal wear, the sun’s UV rays, and the elements take their toll on windshield wiper material.

If you’re starting to notice chipping, cracking or drying out on your windshield wipers, or if they’re shedding entire strips of rubber, it’s definitely time for a change. We’re in the dead of winter here in the St Louis area, and you know how the weather gets here in December and January. Don’t compromise your safety by trying to see through a smeared, smudgy windshield.
